World Salsa Dancing Champion ships in Las Vegas


Salsa dancing has taken off the international phenomenon. This style of dancing originated in South and Latin America and today is world famous dance form for its sensuality and immensity. Many Salsa dancing clubs are there across the world giving dancing lessons and organizing Salsa dance events all around the world. Many popular shows include Salsa dancing into their competition categories.

However, the origin of Salsa dancing style is much debated, but Colombia is called as the 'Capital of Salsa' for its richness in music. Colombia is also home to the largest collection of world Salsa music like Son, Mambo, Bolero, Tango, etc.
 


A Salsa dance is usually performed in pairs. It has taken different styles in different areas. A basic Salsa dance involves three weight changes over the four counts of music. New York style is also called as the Mambo and breaks on the second beat of an eight-count of music. World Salsa music in Las Vegas is different from the New York Salsa music and dancing. It breaks on the first beat of the music.


World Salsa music in Las Vegas is known for its up-tempo beats of the bongos and rhythms of boutijela. It is a vigorous and lively music. The saucy Las Vegas Salsa music is much appreciated in the entire world. There are a number of Salsa dance clubs in Las Vegas that are catering the dance lessons to the young enthusiasts and also are organizing Salsa dance competitions on the global level.
